Antispeciesist women against patriarchal violence
Declaration in support of the mobilization of the 24th of November 2007 in Italy against violence towards women.

As antispeciesist women, we fully adhere to the mobilization on 24 November against masculine violence towards women.
We denounce the patriarchal domination over the female body, the object from which man exploits social work and sexual pleasure.
We break the veil of silence that covers the violence, both subtle and manifest, psychological and physical, of which we are victims in family and in society.
We refuse the education of submission which, for centuries, has nailed our individualities to the role of wife and mother, to familial and sexual slaves, and which has deprived us of the liberty to control our bodies and our lives.
We remember that patriarchal violence has no species boundaries: We are in solidarity with the non-human females imprisoned in concentration-camp farms, forced to be mothers, reduced to sexualized recipients reproductive for profit, trained—like human girls—for obedience and docility.
Women’s bodies belong only to women: enough violence, enough domination.
